Monday 6th January

Ah, the new year then.   Quite enjoying it so far, had relaxing holiday period, once I actually got to it I enjoyed it, as I'd hoped!

So, at the moment, I'm working on demos of new songs, and doing a bit of writing.   Not planning to do any proper gigs until March, concentrating on writing (and staying in, brr) until then.

I might actually book some gigs in the meantime!   That would be good, wouldn't it?

Yes, as ever, I predict a relatively quiet winter period for yours truly.   But I am feeling generally positive about music and that, which is always nice!   I was a bit moody the end of last year, looking at the diary entries!   But, again, that's usually the case, and I generally cheer up once it actually gets to Christmas, and I can stop getting stressed about thinking about how I feel about it and having to balance conflicting ideas and feelings and just SHUT UP AND RELAX for a change.

   There, that's better.

Oh, and the fact it starts getting noticeably lighter too, even if it is freezing cold!

   Hurrah!

Sunday 26th January

Well, enjoying my sabbatical from performing still, I must say.   (Did a very low-key gig last week 'cos someone asked me to, but didn't feel I achieved very much by doing so.)

Writing etc going slowly but steadily.

Not making any definite plans for gigs this year just yet, I don't want to commit to anything at the moment.   Rather leave it a bit open-ended, this particular phase.   Rest, regroup, regress ... er, no, not the last one.   Register.   Recur.   That sort of thing.
