Saturday 7th September

   Well, here it is, the Artsfest weekend!   Many many things happening in Birmingham city centre, and all of them free!   And today is also Mr Roberto Dell'Era's birthday, so, many happy returns!

   Not much to report, but I have been on holiday!   First gig of the season on Wednesday, at the Old Railway, with a bunch of very talented people from Beat Bedsit records in Brighton.   Thanks as ever to those of you who came down for it, as ever it's mainly you lot that stop me just giving up!

   So, my plan is still to engage some lovely person to handle my affairs.   Or at least book exciting new worldwide gigs for me.   'Cos I can't do it, kevin knows.

Wednesday 18th September

   The ArtsFest thing went very well, and I've gone back to taking some time off!   But now I'm thoroughly Back For The Duration.   So there you are.

   Another gig tomorrow, Scruffy Murphy's.   Should be good, last time I really enjoyed it.

   Hmm, still pretty blank when it comes to thinking of things to say.   Possibly this is due to the fact that I'm making a real effort not to think about things too much.
