Thursday 18th July

Well, I've been away for a long weekend, much needed break after weeks of doing EP related stuff.   Got a bit of sunshine too, which always helps.   Especially when camping, very good.

So, everything going smoothly for the EP launch on Sunday, and the release Monday - the CDs are pressed up and looking rather nice, if I say so myself.   I must remember to do loads of publicity and stuff before it gets too late in the day ... oh, wait ....

What else is there to talk about?

Saturday 27th July

Top time was had by all at the EP launch night - also playing were a rather good band from Liverpool called Cracatilla, and Paul C from Mocca, a very fine songwriter indeed, so it was a really good night.

As ever, Badger Promotions made sure it was a great event, with friendly staff on the door, etc, and the sound was really good - they've got some new gear at the Old Railway, and it shows!   So the Old Railway's supremacy as a venue is maintained - although in fairness I have to say that sound at the Jug of Ale, Moseley, and the Flapper and Firkin, Birmingham City Centre,  is usually excellent too.

Right, now I need to really pull my finger out and book this Autumn tour before it becomes too late, and I have to make it a Christmas special!

   Later ....
