Monday 8th April

   Been on holiday!   Ahem.

Cover artwork for the EP is coming on nicely, I've got a very talented local artist working on it.   So that should be done this week, hopefully it'll be ready for pressing next week!

   Hopefully ...

Thursday 11th April

Right, well, lots of exciting things happening.   Well, not actually exciting as such.   Things, anyway.

For a start, I'm in the process of transferring the website to a shiny new posh home, where it should be much faster, and not keep disappearing, as it has done occasionally.   This is the plan anyway.   So I've been wrestling with DNS and ODBC DSN and IIS and that.   Causing some smoke to seep out of ears, but other than that I think it's going OK.

And cover art should be done soon, I've had a slight setback in that my computer started falling over, so I've had to re-jiggify it today.   Everything seems to be going smoothly now though.

I guess I should play the guitar or something a bit too, haven't played for ages.   What's happening, I wonder to myself?

Monday 22nd April

Aha!   Cover artwork so nearly done.   You'd be amazed.

No, but really, the creative process can't be rushed, innit?

Look, the front's almost entirely sorted, the inside is more or less sorted, and we're just finding the right image for the back.   But it's going to be black, we can tell you that much!   Dark and moody, yes!

Oh, and ended up re-doing the mastering yesterday too!   Well, I'd noticed a small noise had crept into the previous version, and it was sounding a bit too .... well, modern somehow.   Anyway, it's better now - I think because I actually knew what I wanted before starting to do it.   You'll like it when you hear it, I promise.

Other than that - well, that's been it really, all spare time has been allocated to doing EP stuff.   I'm going to be so sick of it by the time it's finished I'm just going to want to bury it in a hole in the ground and never see it again.

Ah, the amusing ironies of the creative process.    Aha.
